Donate coats, gloves for ‘Warm the Family’ program - Sent-trib

Do you have gently used coats just taking up space in your closests? You could donate these coats to the Salvation Army of Wood County annual “Warm the Family” program. The program will run to Nov. 8.

Do you have gently used coats just taking up space in your closests? You could donate these coats to the Salvation Army of Wood County annual “Warm the Family” program.

The program will run to Nov. 8. Donations needed are for both male and female, all ages and sizes. Take your gently used coats to one of Long’s Sanitary Cleaners location at 345 N. Maple St. Long’s has donated dry-cleaning costs for all used coats received.

For its 43nd year, Long’s Sanitary Cleaners is the sponsor of the ‘Warm the Family’ program by generously donating the dry-cleaning costs of all the gently used coats received.

If you, your business, church, or organization would like to donate new coats, hats, gloves, and scarves, to the “Warm the Family” program, overseen by the Salvation Army of Wood County, contact Earlene Kilpatrick, Salvation Army volunteer at 419-601-0976.

Coats will be available to qualified applicants during the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving and Christmas distributions, and throughout the winter season.
